Today we went to the dog show in České Budějovice. We were registered for the original date in April. At that time, our dogs fell into the category of puppies and we wanted to use the show as a "training" before the club show of the KPP. Now it turned out exactly the same way for us, so we went for a run in the ring, so that we wouldn't be ashamed in two weeks at the club show. Both Sonny and Zippa were in the junior category. Sonny was alone in his group, and Zippa had another "colleague" in the ring. We have found out what we have known for some time, and that is that handling is not our strong point. So we will have to train a lot to improve our presentation. Zippa did very well, without the slightest "protest". On the other hand, our teenager Sonny did the exact opposite of everything we wanted him to do. As a true rebel, he tried to see and sniff everything outside the ring. Right after we have arrived home, they jumped out of the car like torpedoes, stepped at the entrance to the pasture and could not wait for their "natural habitat". The pastures are the place, where they are truly happy and show their true self.
